Larry Potter has spent nearly 30 years in management and sales for private communities in Florida and the Carolinas. Starting with Arvida Corporation in Ponte Vedra, Florida and the famed community of Sawgrass, and then to Vero Beach, Florida. He joined the initial sales staff of Grand Harbor, a 900 acre waterfront development featuring two championship golf courses and a deep-water marina. Later he was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for both Grand Harbor and the retirement community of Oak Harbor. Most recently, he joined The Cliffs in the mountain communities of Valley, Glassy and Mountain Park. He and his wife, Lynn and their two Westies, Harry and Beatrix, have lived at Glassy for the past twelve years. Before his real estate career he was a partner in Pearson Potter Yacht Basin and a commercial fishing business in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Larry has a deep appreciation of the outdoors and enjoys the southern mountain lifestyles, and most importantly, he loves introducing and working with newcomers to introduce them to the many benefits which the Carolinas offer year round.

Matt was a Professional golfer from 1988 until 2005. He played in his first Web.com event in 1996 and his first PGA Tour event in 1998. Unfortunately, his playing career was cut short due to an accident which led him to the world of real estate and a move to Greenville in 2005. Since then he has been able to utilize his golf background to list and sell luxury properties starting with The Cliffs Real Estate, Inc. and since 2012 with Carolina Mountain Real Estate. Since golf is his first love, in 2014 he became the Program Director of The First Tee of the Upstate. This program is the “GO TO” option for parents looking for a place for their kids to learn about life and a bit about golf.

I have always worked in the luxury realm of real estate and I truly care about what I do. I have over 28 years of experience as a Broker and have over “200 million in sales.” It has been my privilege to raise four extraordinary children and spend my free time riding my horse through the gorgeous hills and valleys of Tryon, North Carolina. I am a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame and I am a licensed REALTOR® in South Carolina.
